Hidden Mountain--Revealed

I was disappointed that I could not see the mountain range, when the mist suddenly cleared and I saw the mountain top--for a moment, then the mist closed in again. So I waited, hoping that the mist would clear again. It did, but only long enough to take this picture, then the mountain disappeared into the mist again. But I had the picture. I then made it to the other side of the mountain I was on--and it was summer on that leeward side. On one side nine inches of snow had fallen; on the other, still summer and lush and green. Sept 9.
